Margaret Attenborough

Margaret Attenborough is an English academic and former maths lecturer known for her work in geophysical software. She gained public attention when her partner, Michael Gallagher, was arrested in 1996 on suspicion of IRA activity. Attenborough initially campaigned for Gallagher's innocence, only to later discover his guilt after his conviction. Together, they co-authored a memoir titled 'Unbroken: Secrets, Lies and Enduring Love,' which details their tumultuous relationship and Gallagher's hidden involvement with the IRA, highlighting themes of deception, forgiveness, and enduring love.
