Margaret Meafua is the labour inspectorate compliance manager for the central region, known for her proactive approach to ensuring safety and compliance in the beauty sector. Recently, she has been in the news for leading efforts by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) to address rising safety concerns in nail salons and beauty parlours, particularly in response to increased complaints and ACC claims related to unsafe practices.
