
Margherita Maria Alacoque
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque was a French nun of the Visitation Order in the 17th century, celebrated for her role in promoting the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She experienced a series of mystical visions in which Jesus revealed his heart as a symbol of divine love and compassion for humanity. Her efforts led to the establishment of the Feast of the Sacred Heart, which is still observed in the Catholic Church today.
