Margita Poriete

Margita Poriete is the head of the Folklore Commission of the Riga Latvian Society, recognized for her contributions to preserving and promoting Latvian folk traditions. She is involved in the Gaismas gadskārtas project, where she leads a team in creating traditional Latvian masks that will be featured during the light trilogy at the Latvijas Etnogrāfiskajā brīvdabas muzejā.
