Mari Love

Mari Love is a passionate community organizer and chef based in Venezuela, known for her initiative 'Día Mundial de la Arepa en ruedas', which aims to prepare and distribute tens of thousands of arepas to vulnerable populations in Caracas. At 54 years old, she has been instrumental in coordinating efforts that mobilize thousands of volunteers and supporters to provide meals to hospitals, nursing homes, and the homeless. Her dedication to this cultural staple reflects her commitment to both culinary tradition and social welfare, as she works to expand the initiative each year, with plans to prepare 50,000 arepas by 2026.
