María Aldao

María Aldao is a revered midwife in Uruguay, recognized for her extensive contributions to maternal healthcare since 1941. Her work has been instrumental in improving the birthing experience for many women, and she has been honored for her dedication by having a street named after her in her hometown. Recently, she was invited to participate in the inauguration of the UTEC campus in Durazno, marking a significant milestone in the development of higher education in the region.
