María Altamirano

María Altamirano is a professor of Botany at the University of Málaga and the vice president of the Spanish Society of Phycology, known for her research on invasive algae, including the Rugulopteryx okamurae, which has been causing ecological concern along the Mediterranean coast since its introduction to Spain.
