Maria Constantinescu
Maria Constantinescu was the mother of Mateiu Caragiale, the illegitimate son of the renowned Romanian playwright Ion Luca Caragiale. Her relationship with Caragiale began in the mid-1880s and resulted in the birth of Mateiu, who would later become a notable literary figure in his own right.
