María Gabina González

María Gabina González is a prominent indigenous leader from the Tovatîry community of the Mbya people in the district of RI 3 Corrales, Caaguazú department. She has been vocal in advocating for the rights and needs of her community, particularly in relation to educational resources. Recently, González expressed her community's discontent over receiving old and damaged school furniture from the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC), despite their previous requests for updated furnishings.
