Maria Galina

Maria Galina is a Ukrainian poet and chronicler who has been documenting the impacts of the ongoing war in her city, Odesa, through near-daily social media posts since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Known for her poignant reflections on life in wartime, she has adapted her language and style to convey the evolving nature of her experiences, particularly following the loss of her husband, poet Arkady Shtypel.
