María Luisa Arias

María Luisa Arias is a forest firefighter in the Área de Conservación Guanacaste, Costa Rica. She has been actively involved in combating forest fires and has expressed gratitude for the support and training received from the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), which has provided her team with essential tools and resources to enhance their firefighting capabilities in the region.
