María Magdalena Rodríguez was a prominent Honduran journalist known for her warm voice, kind smile, and sincere demeanor. She passed away in San Pedro Sula due to complications from cancer, after bravely battling the illness for two years. Rodríguez had a successful career at the newspaper LA PRENSA, where she led the supplements and commercial editions, guiding many generations of reporters in keeping the public informed on various topics, including health and social affairs. She also served as the director of public relations for the municipality of San Pedro Sula and ventured into the restaurant business. A graduate of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, she is remembered for her humanity, professionalism, and the positive impact she made on her community.
