Maria Mateus

Maria Mateus, 84, is a long-time resident of Marinha Grande who participated in the early voting for the presidential elections. She shared her experience of the recent storm, recalling a historical incident from 40 years ago when a political campaign visit had to be cut short due to violence. Despite the devastation caused by the storm, Maria remains determined to fulfill her civic duty.
