Maria Nyerere

Mama Maria Nyerere is the widow of Julius Nyerere, the founding father and first President of Tanzania. She is known for her advocacy for self-reliance and food security in Tanzania, emphasizing the importance of the ruling party, CCM, in ensuring the country remains independent and self-sufficient.
