Maria Stashynska

Maria Stashynska was the sister of Bohdan Stashynskyi and was initially engaged to Ivan Lab, a commander in the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. Her family's estrangement from Bohdan after his recruitment by the KGB highlighted the personal consequences of political allegiance during a turbulent historical period.
