Maria Taseva is a 20-year-old survivor of the tragic nightclub fire that occurred at Pulse in Kocani, North Macedonia. During the chaos that ensued as patrons attempted to escape the blaze, she fell to the ground but miraculously managed to find an exit. Maria's harrowing experience was compounded by the loss of her 25-year-old sister in the incident, highlighting the devastating impact of the fire that claimed many young lives and left numerous others injured.
