Maria Zoițanu

Maria Zoițanu is a retired teacher who has dedicated a significant part of her life to preserving traditional culture and the authentic heritage of rural Romanian villages, particularly in the northern region of Moldova. Alongside her fellow villagers, she has worked tirelessly to revive traditional recipes, including a centuries-old zacuscă recipe passed down through generations, ensuring that the culinary traditions of her community remain alive.
