Mariano Nuzzo

Mariano Nuzzo is the superintendent of the Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape (ABAP) Superintendence for the Metropolitan Area of Naples. He recently gained attention for announcing the discovery of ancient Roman tombs in the necropolis near Giugliano, Italy, including one with an epitaph of a gladiator, which provides valuable insights into the social dynamics and daily life of ancient Roman communities.
