Maribel Albalat

Maribel Albalat is the current mayor of Paiporta, representing the PSPV-PSOE political party. Recently, she has been in the news for her leadership during the recovery efforts following the devastating floods caused by the dana in October 2023. Albalat has expressed gratitude for the swift reconstruction of critical infrastructure, particularly the metro bridge essential for local mobility in the densely populated comarca of l'Horta Sud, which suffered significant damage. Her administration has also implemented alternative transport services to connect communities affected by the flooding.
