Marie Bonaparte was a French princess and psychoanalyst, known for her significant contributions to the field of psychology and her connections with prominent figures of her time. Born into an aristocratic family, she met Constantin Brâncuși at the age of 37 and became a model for his sculpture 'Prințesa X.' Their passionate but brief romance influenced both their lives, as she later became a notable figure in psychoanalysis, even becoming a close associate of Sigmund Freud.
