Marie Pollard

Marie Pollard was a 62-year-old retired nurse from Castlegar, Co Galway, who tragically died after being struck by a motorcyclist in Dublin in November 2022. Originally from Co Meath, she was a devoted mother of three. Following her death from a traumatic head injury, her family successfully appealed a decision not to prosecute the motorcyclist, leading to criminal proceedings being instituted.
