Marie S.

Marie S. is a 33-year-old woman diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia who has been involved in multiple violent incidents, including threatening individuals with knives and attacking police officers. Due to her mental health condition and significant intoxication during these events, she has been deemed not criminally responsible for her actions. As a result, the prosecution has requested her indefinite commitment to a closed psychiatric facility. Marie has a history of erratic behavior and has been forcibly admitted to psychiatric care several times between December 2021 and October 2023.
