Marija Kutniakova

Marija Kutniakova is a Ukrainian refugee from Mariupol, who survived the devastation of her hometown during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. After enduring the traumatic experiences of war, including the loss of her home and the struggle for survival, she relocated to Lithuania with her family, where she has since adapted to a new life while maintaining strong ties to her Ukrainian roots. As a communication manager, Marija actively contributes to the Ukrainian community in Lithuania by organizing cultural events and sharing her experiences, fostering dialogue between Ukrainians and Lithuanians. Her story reflects resilience, the impact of conflict on personal identity, and the ongoing struggle for peace in her homeland.
