
Marijan Malina
Marijan Malina (1947-2023) was a Croatian metallurgical engineer and politician, known for his significant contributions to the field of metallurgy and his involvement in local governance. He was a long-standing member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and served as a representative in the Croatian Parliament after being elected in the first multiparty elections in 1990. Malina also held the position of director at the Metallurgical Faculty in Sisak and published numerous scientific papers in his field. Tragically, he was killed in a traffic accident in Sisak when his car was struck by a truck.
