Mariliana Morales

Mariliana Morales is the founder and executive director of Fundación Rahab, an organization dedicated to assisting victims of human trafficking in Costa Rica. With over 28 years of experience in this field, she has been instrumental in raising awareness about the harsh realities faced by victims, particularly women and children. Under her leadership, the foundation has supported over 3,100 victims of trafficking and their families. Morales advocates for the rights of these individuals, emphasizing the need for reform in the victim accreditation process and promoting educational opportunities to help survivors rebuild their lives. Recently, she highlighted the alarming situation of victims linked to criminal networks, underscoring the ongoing challenges in combating human trafficking.
