Marilyn Vanegas Valencia

Marilyn Vanegas Valencia is a community activist from La Lima, Intipucá, who is currently involved in a legal battle regarding land rights for her community. She represents one of seven families facing potential eviction and has been vocal about the need for justice and protection of their ancestral lands. Vanegas is associated with MILPA El Salvador, an organization advocating for the rights of marginalized communities against unjust land dispossession.
