Mário Araripe

Mário Araripe is a prominent Brazilian entrepreneur and the founder of Casa dos Ventos, one of the largest renewable energy companies in Brazil. With a net worth of approximately $3 billion, he ranks 1,219th on the global Forbes list. At 70 years old, Araripe is the majority owner of Casa dos Ventos, which plays a significant role in the country's wind energy sector, managing about a third of all operational wind farms in Brazil. Before his venture into renewable energy, he held leadership roles in various industries, including real estate, textiles, and automotive, notably selling the off-road vehicle manufacturer Troller to Ford in 2006.
