
Mario Cossío
Mario Cossío is a Bolivian politician who served as the governor of Tarija from 2006 until his suspension in 2010 due to legal accusations related to the Imbolsur case. Following his suspension, he sought political asylum in Paraguay, where he lived until late 2019. Recently, he has returned to Tarija to vote in the upcoming general elections and to potentially announce his candidacy for the 2026 subnational elections.
