Mario Galeotti was the lead sculptor responsible for the initial phases of the 'Chipul lui Decebal' project, a monumental sculpture depicting the Dacian king Decebal, which took nearly a decade to work on. His expertise in carving and mountain climbing was crucial in overcoming the challenges posed by the rocky landscape of the Danube's Cazanele region.
