Mario Pigozzi, a Dominican of Italian descent, is a pivotal figure in the development of water skiing in the Dominican Republic. He is the father of quadruplets who recently made history at the Central American and Caribbean Games 2026, where they collectively won 10 medals for the national team. His dedication to the sport led him to construct an artificial lake in 2004, providing his children with an ideal training environment and instilling a strong work ethic and passion for water skiing in them.
