Mario Ramos Martínez

Mario Ramos Martínez is the Director General of Tributación in Costa Rica. He recently made headlines regarding the suspension of the deactivation of the ATV tax system due to a provisional measure ordered by the Administrative Court. Ramos emphasized the importance of transparency and modernization of the tax system, stating that despite the temporary halt, the commitment to implement the new Tribu-CR system will continue. He noted that over 300,000 taxpayers had already regularized their tax situations before the planned transition.
