Mario Videla

Mario Videla (1930-2023) was a renowned Argentine organist and music educator, celebrated for his dedication to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. He founded the Bach Academy and spent over four decades performing and promoting Bach's music across Argentina, including significant venues such as the Teatro Colón and Radio Nacional. Videla was instrumental in introducing Bach’s cantatas and compositions to Argentine audiences, solidifying his legacy as a pivotal figure in the appreciation of classical music in the country.
