Marisela Monzón Ramos

Marisela Monzón Ramos, the eldest daughter of Celia Ramos, was just 10 years old when her mother died due to complications from a forced sterilisation procedure in Peru. As a biologist, she has dedicated herself to advocating for justice for her mother and other victims of the country's controversial family planning policies, attending the hearing at the inter-American court of human rights to seek accountability from the Peruvian state.
