Marita Kathewera

Marita Kathewera is the chairperson of the Chinkhande Mother Care Group (MCG) in Ntchisi, Malawi. She has been a vocal advocate for improved maternity services in her community, expressing frustration over the delays in rolling out such services at the Chinkhande Health Centre. Under her leadership, the MCG has mobilized community efforts to address challenges faced by expectant mothers, including the urgent need for a guardian shelter and additional nursing staff.
