Maritza Hernández Castañeda

Maritza Hernández Castañeda is the president of the Unión Costarricense de Cámaras y Asociaciones del Sector Empresarial Privado (Uccaep), an organization representing private sector interests in Costa Rica. Recently, she was in the news due to her strong response to alleged defamation by President Rodrigo Chaves, who criticized Uccaep's representatives regarding a controversial decision related to the construction of a new hospital in Cartago.
