Mariù Pascoli

Mariù Pascoli was the younger sister of the renowned Italian poet Giovanni Pascoli. She remained unmarried throughout her life, living in the shadow of her brother's literary fame. After Giovanni's death in 1912, she played a significant role in returning him to their family home in Castelvecchio di Barga, reflecting the deep familial bonds that characterized their lives. Despite their close relationship, she faced the complexities of family dynamics, particularly with their older sister Ida, who distanced herself due to disagreements over marriage.
