Marius van der Merwe

Marius van der Merwe, referred to as Witness D, was a key figure in the Madlanga commission investigating corruption within South Africa's criminal justice system. He was shot dead in his home shortly after testifying about serious allegations, including extrajudicial killings, which implicated high-ranking officials.
