Mark Ifiemenko

Mark Ifiemenko, a four-year-old boy from Vasylkiv, Ukraine, survived a devastating Russian drone attack that killed his mother and left him with serious injuries, including blindness in one eye. He spent ten days in intensive care, coping with trauma and the loss of his mother, who died while protecting him during the attack. Despite his young age, Mark's life has been forever changed by the violence of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
