Mark Urquhart

Mark Urquhart is a former Australian paratrooper who became a national hero after surviving a tragic military training accident in 1993 that left him a paraplegic. Despite the severe challenges he faced, he pursued a successful athletic career, winning multiple gold medals at the Invictus Games. Urquhart sought to regain his mobility through surgery by renowned surgeon Munjed Al Muderis, but his experience turned tragic when he suffered severe complications, chronic pain, and a return to wheelchair dependency.
