Markétka was a four-year-old girl from Slovakia whose tragic murder in June 1998 shocked the nation. She disappeared near her home in Veľká Dolina, and her body was discovered later, prompting a long and unresolved investigation that remains open to this day. Despite a confession from a suspect that was later retracted, the case has not been solved, leaving many questions unanswered and the community in mourning.
