Marmaduke Wetherell

Marmaduke Wetherell was a British big-game hunter who became involved in the Loch Ness Monster legend after being commissioned by the Daily Mail to find evidence of the creature in 1934. He famously discovered supposed footprints near the loch, which were later debunked as hoaxes.
