Marta Escurra

Marta Escurra holds a PhD in Defense, Development, and Strategic Security from the Instituto de Altos Estudios Estratégicos (IAEE). She has been actively involved in discussions surrounding national security and airspace sovereignty in Paraguay, particularly in the context of combating illegal air traffic and organized crime. Recently, she has been mentioned in relation to the ongoing debate over the effectiveness of Paraguay's current airspace protection laws and the government's readiness to respond to illicit flights.
