Marta Salgado

Marta Salgado is the founder of Oro Negro, an NGO dedicated to the rights and recognition of the Black population in Chile. With over 26 years of advocacy, she has been instrumental in raising awareness about the historical and ongoing struggles of Black Chileans, culminating in the acknowledgment of their existence by the government in 2019.
