Martha Senbete

Martha Senbete is a 24-year-old Ethiopian woman who has faced significant obstacles in her quest for employment abroad. After working low-wage jobs for years to afford the necessary fees to travel to Dubai, she encountered additional demands for payment at Bole International Airport, which ultimately thwarted her plans. Her story reflects the harsh realities and exploitation faced by many who seek better opportunities outside of Ethiopia.
