Martí Luter, known in English as Martin Luther, was a German theologian and religious reformer whose actions in the early 16th century, particularly the posting of his Ninety-Five Theses, initiated the Protestant Reformation, leading to significant changes in the Christian church and the emergence of Protestant denominations.
