Martin D. Hoffman

Martin D. Hoffman is a retired physician and professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California, Davis. He has contributed to research on the effects of massage on muscle recovery in athletes, including a randomized controlled trial that demonstrated the immediate alleviation of muscle pain and fatigue through traditional massage and pneumatic compression boots after long-distance running.
