Martini
Carlo Maria Martini was an Italian Jesuit and cardinal, born on February 15, 1927, and passed away on August 31, 2012. As the Archbishop of Milan, he was known for his progressive views and emphasis on dialogue within the Church. Martini often advocated for a more open and inclusive approach to Catholicism, which sometimes put him at odds with more conservative elements in the Church. His legacy continues to influence discussions on Church reform and social justice.
