Martyr Beheshti

Martyr Beheshti, also known as Mohammad Beheshti, was a prominent Iranian cleric and politician who played a pivotal role in the Islamic Revolution of 1979. He was instrumental in establishing the Islamic Republic of Iran and served as the head of the judiciary. Beheshti was a key figure in shaping the ideological foundations of the new government and advocating for the principles of the revolution. Tragically, he was assassinated on June 28, 1981, in a bombing that targeted a meeting of the Islamic Republic Party, an event that marked a significant moment in Iranian political history.
