Martyr Qasem Soleimani

Martyr Qasem Soleimani was a Major General in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the commander of the Quds Force, which is responsible for extraterritorial military and clandestine operations. He was widely regarded as one of the most powerful military figures in Iran, known for orchestrating Iran's military involvement in Syria, Iraq, and elsewhere in the region. Soleimani was assassinated by a U.S. drone strike in January 2020, sparking widespread protests in Iran and a reevaluation of Iranian military strategy.
