Maurizio Gucci was an Italian businessman and the former head of the Gucci fashion house, known for his significant contributions to the brand's luxury status. He was assassinated in 1995, a crime that drew international media attention and later led to the conviction of his ex-wife Patricija Ređani, who was found guilty of hiring a hitman to carry out the murder.
